Spicy Chicken 辣子鸡

Crispy fried chicken pieces stir-fried with an abundance of dried chilies and Sichuan peppercorns for a spicy, aromatic dish that packs a punch.

Ingredients:

  • Chicken thighs (cubed): 300g
  • Dried chili peppers: 10-15
  • Sichuan peppercorns: 1 tsp
  • Soy sauce: 1 tbsp
  • Ginger: 1 tsp, minced
  • Garlic: 2 cloves, minced
  • Corn starch: 1 tbsp
  • Cooking oil: 2 tbsp

Instructions:

  • Marinate chicken with soy sauce and cornstarch for 10 minutes.
  • Fry chicken until crispy, set aside.
  • Heat oil, fry chili peppers and peppercorns until aromatic.
  • Add garlic, ginger, and chicken, stir-fry, and serve.
