Braised Duck 盐水鸭

A Nanjing specialty, this dish features tender duck infused with aromatic spices.

Ingredients:

  • Whole duck: 1 (about 1.5kg)
  • Star anise: 2
  • Ginger: 3 slices
  • Soy sauce: 3 tbsp
  • Salt: 2 tbsp

Instructions:

  • Rub the duck with salt and let marinate for 2 hours.
  • Boil the duck with ginger, star anise, soy sauce, and water for 1 hour.
